CGI Federal is currently seeking candidates to join our successful Federal organization as a Change Manager (Mid) supporting a large, high-profile cyber security program. This is a position on a high performing team working to deploy the next generation of cyber security technologies for strategic federal customers. The CCM directs and guides the change management process and maintains the various systems’ documentation and configurations. The CCM will be responsible for ensuring configuration solutions and changes for the program and ensure systems are structured, managed, tracked, and reported.

This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office two days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Monitor new configurations and changes made to all environments and provide standard guidelines in support of the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program.
• Coordinate with the project’s Cross Agency Team and Agency Specific Core Teams on all needed configurations.
• Maintain the change control processes and ensure Team CGI is aware of changes that may affect the design, build, test, and delivery in the CDM program.
• Support the development of new builds, patches, hotfixes, deployment, and project schedules, to include all application details/changes to ensure a quality solution.
• Upon approval – compile, package, and deliver release packages.
• Monitor and coordinate the testing of patches and releases and the impact of those in the development, test, and production environments; recommend rollbacks if required.
• Create/enhance the change management process and procedures within the change management application, Jira, and supporting documentation.
• Support and manage team tickets with a focus on recognizing broader problems and tracking problems as part of a larger project.
• Support the development and execution of the problem reporting process using Jira.
• Support the development of reports on project progress, risks, and issues.
• Support the Agency Teams in the delivery of documentation for specific Agency Change Control Board requests.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Due to the nature of the contract requirements, US citizenship and successful passing of CGI background check is required prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience in maintaining and updating documentation using basic publication standards.
• Effective communication and writing skills to communicate to customers and internal team members.
• Organizational skills to work with the vast array of information.
• Ability to maintain own workload and meet deadlines.

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
• Experience contributing to deliverables and performance metrics on previous projects.
• Configuration Management or Security relevant industry certifications: CMMI, Sec+
• Understanding of, or direct experience with, the DHS Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Program (CDM).

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $67,800.00 - $165,200.00.
