The AWS Solutions Architect will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing cutting-edge cloud solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and a deep understanding of cloud architecture best practices.

This position is located in Nashville, TN. Selected candidate must be onsite 3 days per week.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and design scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions using AWS services.
• Develop architecture blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation outlining the proposed solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients throughout the entire project lifecycle, from design to implementation and post-launch support.
• Lead architectural proposal activities, including solution presentations, proposal development, and architectural review meetings.
• Oversee infrastructure teams implementing architectural designs to ensure quality deployment of solution components.
• Stay current with AWS services, industry trends, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions that align with client goals and objectives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business teams, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.

Calificaciones requeridas para tener éxito en este rol:

• Previous leadership of a team between 3 to 10+ team members
• Ability to manage expectations with your team and with technical and business stakeholders in order ensure successful delivery of projects with firm timelines.
• Desire to mentor and grow the next round of leaders on your team.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• A total of 10+ years of Information Technology experience with minimally 5 years’ hands on experience in one or more architecture domains (e.g. solutions architecture, application architecture)
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex AWS architectures in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of core AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation.
• Experience working in an end-to-end enterprise DevOps environment using Containerization, Infrastructure and Configuration as a code, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
• Expertise in Microservices architecture, building Serverless applications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $67,800 - $212,600.
