Position Description:

This is an opportunity to work as a Data Engineer on a CGI a team that is delivering statistical programs for lab scientists. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the data infrastructure that enables the organization to extract insights from data and drive informed decision-making. The Data Engineer will work with R programming code and adhere to strict Data Governance and Security rules sanctioned by the Pharmaceutical community.

This role is primarily located in Plymouth Meeting, PA but can be done in NYC, North Brunswick, NJ and/or Hartford, CT.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

* Execute proficient data cleaning and preparation utilizing packages like dplyr and tidyr to ensure data quality and efficiency.
* Conduct complex statistical tests and analyses with expertise to derive meaningful insights and support decision-making
* Employ ggplot2 skills to craft engaging and informative visualizations that effectively communicate insights from data.
* Apply a solid grasp of R programming concepts and structures to develop robust and efficient code for data analysis tasks.
Machine Learning - Utilize R packages to implement machine learning algorithms effectively, contributing to predictive modeling and data-driven solutions

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

*Mastery in R Programming: Demonstrate fluency in R programming, showcasing proficiency in leveraging its capabilities to tackle diverse data challenges effectively

* Familiarity with Agile methodologies (adds value, and seamless integration into dynamic, fast-paced work environments

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,300.00-$160,200.00.
