The Payroll Consultant is responsible for delivering quality, end-to-end payroll services in collaboration with our third party payroll provider. The Consultant will ensure that SLAs are met and is in compliance with auditing and country specific legislative requirements. The Payroll Consultant also supports business goals through partnerships with various stakeholders (Global and local HR teams, local Payroll teams, internal/external clients, and CGI members).

Dina framtida arbetsuppgifter:

• Is responsible for accurate and timely processing of payroll inputs
• Act as interface with internal or external clients for various inquiries and/or issue resolution including timely escalation of issues that are not resolved immediately
• Is responsible for performing different forms of payroll related reconciliations as required
• Is responsible for preparing accurate and timely journal entries as required
• Ensure that the client protocols /service agreements are accordingly monitored for the actual payroll
• Is responsible to comply with policies defined by the Lead Consultant and/or the project in accordance with country specific requirements
• Assist in additional projects related to Payroll/Finance
• Act as a Payroll Subject Matter Expert
• Liaise and colaborate effectively with other areas of the business such as the HR team and Total Compensation Team

Quality
• Maintain quality standards in accordance with the project and business procedures
• Ensure that all quality deficiencies are corrected in a timely manner
• Implement internal control measure and conducts regular control self-assessments to ensure that processes meet internal control requirements.
• Ensure that CGI policies on Data Protection must be strictly complied with
• It is essential that you have strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills and are familiar with analysing and validation of excel reports

Teamwork and Communications
• Ensure regular feedback is communicated to different stakeholders
• Ensure attendance at regular team meetings
• Ensure compliance to the team norms set and proper communication is in place in case of non- compliance
• You will have the ability to work with corporate HR colleagues on initiatives and strategies and also to be able to challenge and optimize the payroll process (Data –input, mistake proofing, automation)

• Able to manage time and prioritize tasks as necessary
• Strong English and Czech communication skills (verbal, written)
• Slovak communications skills would be desirable
• Proactive and innovative
• Adaptive and is able to work in a team
• Strong work ethic

This position is Hybrid Working and applicants must be able to attend the office at least three times per week.
