Job Overview:
The Active Directory Project Manager is a senior-level role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Active Directory infrastructure to ensure the availability, security, and scalability of directory services. This individual will lead a team of AD administrators, provide technical expertise, and collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Active Directory with other systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Active Directory Design and Architecture:

Design and implement the Active Directory architecture based on organizational requirements.
Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the AD infrastructure.
Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of Active Directory administrators.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
Implementation and Configuration:

Install, configure, and manage Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) and related components.
Implement Group Policies and ensure compliance with security policies.
Security and Access Management:

Develop and implement security best practices for Active Directory.
Manage user access, permissions, and authentication protocols.
Integration and Collaboration:

Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Active Directory with various systems and applications.
Ensure seamless user authentication and authorization across the organization.
Monitoring and Performance Optimization:

Monitor the performance of Active Directory services and take proactive measures to optimize performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AD infrastructure.
Documentation:

Create and maintain documentation related to Active Directory configuration, processes, and procedures.
Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Several years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing Active Directory infrastructure.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems.
Experience with scripting languages for automation (e.g., PowerShell).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate would be beneficial.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $67,800-$202,700.
