Full Stack Developer
Position Description:
Are you ready for an exciting journey? CGI Retail (NL) is on the cusp of a new growth phase, and we're looking for Junior to Senior Integration Developers to join our team and be a part of this exciting journey.
Your Role in the Team
As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with nearshore/offshore members, making the right architectural decisions and building best-in-class product experiences for our customers. As a member of our team, your typical day will be packed with a diverse range of activities, including:
1. Advisory Support
2. Build, test, and deploy software using standard CI/CD pipelines.
3. Develop features that enhance user experiences, save time, and provide valuable insights into data.
4. Design and implement microservices for data processing, database interactions, and integration with other applications.
5. Utilize architectural patterns such as event-based data streaming and request-response web services.
6. Ensure the creation and management of relevant logs, alerts, and security features.
7. Collaborate with backend developers to share knowledge and technical patterns.
8. Work closely with users, product owners, and DevOps engineers to understand the business context and deploy code efficiently.
9. Test software for functionality, quality, fault tolerance, performance, and scalability.

What you'll need
• At least a Bachelor with background in tech (or equivalent based on work experience / proven affinity with tech)
• > 4 years work experience with the Laravel and React frameworks
• Experience building applications with Javascript/Typescript, PHP, HTML5, .Net, CSS and MySQL
• Backend applications: Java
• Microservice and cloud based development
• Passionate about usability, user experience, beauty and elegance of UI's
• Nice to have: knowledge on Terraform, Docker and other tools user in DevOp
