Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Planning, designing and implementation of network changes
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose, isolate and fix complex network problems, make recommendations for enhancements
• Propose new architectures based on enhancements recommendations
• Make recommendations on network products, services, protocols and standards
• Produce network design document based on architectures, perform review of network designs documents based on architecture requirements
• Assist other members in design and implementation plans to meet client requirements
• Perform network asset management, life cycle management and related documentation
• Maintain configuration standards on networking devices

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Education: College/Bachelor in Computer Science, information technology or related technical certifications
• 5-10 years’ experience in managing large, complex networks;
• Excellent communication skills, interacting with all levels of audience. (internal partners, clients and executives)
• Advanced understanding of the Open Systems Interconnection Model
•Ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language
•Ability to work in a team-oriented over multi clients environment
•Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations
•Advanced network troubleshooting skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities


Preferred skills in networking technologies such as:
• Advanced knowledge of DHCP/DNS/NTP/SNMP
• Deep understanding of STP, EVPN, VxLAN, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, PBR, DMVPN, QoS, MPLS, VPLS, Segment Routing, IPSEC, etc.
• Network security: NG Firewall, including IDS/IPS
• Network Automation [Ansible, Terraform]
• Network function virtualization [NFV]
• Software Define Networking [SDN]
• Wireless

Knowledge Expertise:
• Extensive hands-on knowledge in networks design (LAN / WAN) and telecommunications;
• Knowledge of the OSI model and the main network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SDN, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP1&2, VLAN, VTP, Trunking, Port-Channeling, Spanning tree, FabricPath etc.);
• Knowledge of cloud network (Azure VNet, AWS VPC)
• Knowledge of virtual networking (SDN, NFV, Virtual contexts)
• Thorough knowledge of the management and support of routers, switches, load balancer to and next-generation firewalls (Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Citrix, etc.)

Preferable:

• Knowledge of unified communications technologies;
• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms (Radius, Tacacs, etc.);
• Knowledge of VPN technologies (IPSec remote access solutions to various customer sites);
• Knowledge of the Atlassian platform (JIRA, Confluence)
