Position Description:

CGI is seeking accomplished Java full stack Developers to join our Banking Group and support financial services team in Pittsburgh, PA.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Development with Angular with Spring Boot & Microservices
• Design and develop web application using Angular for the UI, and Java 11+, and Spring Boot for the backend, executing in container environment such as Docker.
• Design and develop micro-services using Restful APIs using Spring Boot.
• Design and develop components for data retrieval and storage using SQL and NOSQL databases/services.
• Design and develop components for asynchronous processing using Pub-Sub methods.
• Develop web frontend from UI mocks using HTML5, CSS3, Typescript, and Angular technologies.
• Design and build secure, scalable, and high-performance applications, including the optimization for page load times on the client side.
• Build UI using web standards avoiding cross browser compatibility issues.
• Design and develop applications that comply with Security standards and authentications such as OWASP, SAML, and OAUTH
• Design and write test automation scripts for both frontend and backend.
• Work in Agile scrum environment and work with tools such as Jira and Jenkins.
• Ability to work independently with minimal/no guidance
• At least 6 years of experience with key technologies
• Should be able to work and deliver independently and guide offshore to deliver the work.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Web development, Responsive UI.
• Co-ordinate with offshore team members to complete the deadlines of the project sprints.
• Ability to recognize user experience needs and convert into design.
• Development with unit testing frameworks.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 8+ years’ experience as Java/J2EE developer
• 5+ years Angular 7/8
• 3+ years API development & OpenShift
• Strong knowledge of the java frameworks (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security)
• Strong knowledge of web services (Restful)
• Design and develop applications that comply with Security standards and authentications such as OWASP, SAML, and OAUTH.
• Excellent communication skills
• Willing to work and coordinate with business teams for solution delivery
• Should have worked in Agile methodologies.
