At CGI, you'll do more than just sling code, you will solve challenging business and technical problems as a full-time consultant. In addition, you’ll be a part of undertaking several strategic initiatives to re-engineer current business processes and technology solutions to streamline and modernize client operations.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Participate in requirements gathering and support requirements analysis.
• Support system design activities.
• Develop application components and integrate back-end, server and database components.
• Recommend system performance enhancements.
• Operate as part of an agile development team

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, and Physics or in an appropriate discipline.
• Five (5) years of experience in developing applications, including web page design and development.
• Experience web application development.
• Java/full stack Developer with a background in application architecture and system design with the ability to support the modernization efforts.
• Experience working Java, J2EE.
• Experience working with ORM tools such as Hibernate.
• Experience developing with design patterns.
• Experience developing with Object Oriented Concepts.
• Experience developing with web application frameworks including two (2) years in Spring.
• Experience working with Oracle database, and SQL.
• Experience working with WebServices and XML including two, years with RESTful.
• Experience working with Maven and Subversion.
• Experience with unit testing using JUnit, Mockito or other testing frameworks.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux.
• Experience working with JBOSS.

Desired:
• UI development experience in Angular 6+ or TypeScript.
• Experience in developing 508 compliant application.
• AWS or other cloud experience.


Est. Salary/Hourly Range (Colorado Only): $86,300 - $112,200*

*Disclaimer: In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, effective January 1, 2021, a good faith hourly or base salary range must be posted for all positions where the work may be performed in the state of Colorado. Therefore, this good faith salary range will only apply where this described position will be performed in the state, and should not be considered the compensation range in other locations or for other positions.
