Position Description:

CGI Federal is actively recruiting an experienced Federal Financials Reporting Expert to join our growing consulting practice. As the Expert, you will be responsible for requirements analysis, systems configuration, systems testing, and end-user support, as well as establishing expertise in both the client budget processes as well as the Momentum Performance Budgeting software.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include requirements analysis, posting model development/review, systems configuration, systems testing, and end-user support.
• Develop and maintain working knowledge of Momentum systems functionality (specifically General Ledger, External Reports, and General Systems modules) and client’s business process in order to address business user inquiries and assist in development, design, and analysis activities.
• Ideally the candidate will have strong analytical and problem solving skills and some technical skills (ability to read large input files, execute batch jobs, develop SQL scripts to run queries, etc).
• The candidate must demonstrate the ability to take on and manage a variety of tasks at any give time.
• Individual will be responsible for overseeing junior team members.
• Candidate must have the ability to lead a small team and work with project managers to coordinate workload, project plans, staffing needs, etc.
• Ability to work with client to expand business and initiate new work

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

The ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance is required to begin working onsite with our client, and a Secret clearance must be maintained throughout the project duration. Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 8+ years of Federal Financials experience.
• Strong functional, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of USSGL and Federal Accounting is required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
