Position Description:

CGI has an immediate need for Azure Cloud Architect (Remote) to support our enterprise client and deliver transformation engagements with a focus on Azure cloud migration, hybrid cloud solutions, and solution implementation team

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Helping to contribute in the architectural direction of a large cloud transformation initiative
• Designing, building, securing, and deploying applications and technologies to the Cloud
• Migration from on-prem Data Centers to Azure cloud and Hybrid Cloud environments

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 10 years of IT industry experience with 5+ years as Architect
• Minimum 3-6 years of experience in designing, building, securing, and deploying applications and technologies to the Cloud.
• Minimum 2 years of experience migrating from on-prem Data Centers to Azure cloud and Hybrid Cloud environments.
• Communication and English language skills – needs to communicate and work with the Apps teams independently and at senior levels. Possesses a senior / enterprise mindset

Technical Skills:
• Configuration management and automation tools such as Azure DevOps or similar
• Good to have experience in architecting Data Analytics solutions
• Data movement and transformation technologies using ADF or any ETL tool.
• Debug network flows and identify potential roadblocks where policies, accesses etc. need to be changed
• Experience with claims-based authentication (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), MFA, and RBAC
• Good to have Certifications e.g., Microsoft, TOGAF, CISSIP, Zachman, ITIL etc.
• General awareness of DevOps techniques and methodologies
Cloud Skills:
• Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
• Experience with the following:
• Networking, VNets, peering, routing, NSGs, DNS, load balancer, firewall
• Azure Functions, Web Apps / Application Services, Application Service Environments, Azure Event Hub
• Application Gateway, SSL Deployments, Web Application Firewalls
• Azure Virtual Machine design and deployments (Linux, Windows)
• Azure Automation, Monitor, Backup, Defender for Cloud
• Azure DevOps
• Azure RBAC, strong understanding of built-in roles
• Azure PaaS Data Services Azure Data Factory, Machine Learning, Power BI, Azure Data Lake
• Experience in Database Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MYSQL in Azure
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect certification preferred

Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $135,700.00-$139,000.00*
