Position Description:

CGI has an immediate need for a DevOps Engineer to join our financial services team in one of our selected CGI locations. Due to the current COVID-19 status, candidates will not be required to work within the physical work location at this time. When COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, they will be required to be located within the proximity of the assigned CGI location.

​Description
This position is a ​​part of the strategic initiatives projects within Enterprise Architecture area working on the latest tech stack. Join a fast paced team to grow your career. High aptitude, desire to grow and the right attitude are key to success in this role.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Build and deploy CICD pipeline using GitLab/Executor with multiple technologies like AWS, Terraform
Participate in technical design and choose the right tools such as Python, Java/Groovy, Docker etc.,
Has a strong sense of ownership and willingness to work with cross functional team
Has a strong technical understanding of applications and DevOps tools and can provide guidance to the DevOps team in this matter.
Implement standards, processes, and controls for release and deployment activities in DevOps space

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

At least 4 years of experience in DevOps Engineering and CICD Pipeline Automations
At least 3 years of hand-on experience writing CICD pipeline jobs and templates (Gitlab)
At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
At least 2 years of hands on experience in AWS
At least 2 year of experience in cloud migrations
Experience leading and mentoring teams
At least 3 years of hands on experience in scripting or programming languages like bash, shell, Python, Groovy etc
Experience with cloud-based DevOps practices
Experience with CICD tool integrations (Artifactory, Nexus, SonarQube, Fortify)
At least 2 years of experience with REST API integrations
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
AWS Certification
5+ years of experience with DevOps tools and software engineering
Experience with Gitlab
Experience with Terraform
Possess Solid communication skills
Has a strong sense of ownership and willingness to work with cross functional team
Has a strong technical understanding of applications and DevOps tools and can provide guidance to the DevOps team in this matter
