Position Description:

Cyber security manager is responsible for managing the IT/cyber security of an organization. Developing and implementing policies that help ensure the safety of sensitive data or systems. This might include creating guidelines for employees on how they should handle sensitive information, as well as training programs to educate everyone on best practices when it comes to handling digital information.
• Maintain a documented action plan containing policies, practices and procedures that mitigate the identified risks.
• Document information related to IT security attacks, threats, risks and controls.
• Establish review procedures based on organization’s security risk management plan.
• Evaluate effectiveness of current incident response plan against industry good practices.
• Identify threats and risks that are relevant to organization’s operations and systems.
• Prepare information security performance report based on results from analysis and correlation of information security events.
• Rate and categorize potential security incidents.
• Maintain material and provide information security awareness training to other members
• Serve as a focal point of contact for the information security team and the customer or organization
• Accountable to ensure vulnerabilities are deployed on time and with minimal impact on production platform availability/performance
• Gather input from different teams (multiple vendor teams, client, etc) and create corresponding documents (e.g. Activity List/project plan, MOP, RFC, etc)
• Interface with application and infrastructure leads to plan/coordinate Test and Pre-Prod deployment activities
• Interface with customers and set expectations for production deployments
• Lead and manage the Production deployments
• Experienced in agile methodologies and lead agile implementation
• Willing to get hands dirty when remediating vulnerabilities
• Lead and manage a team of vulnerability remediation SMEs across different infrastructure assets
