Position Description:

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a business/functional analyst (intermediate to senior). Please note that candidates in the Saguenay/Lac-St-Jean region will be favored.

Description:

Roles
Reporting to the S&TI Aluminum Operations Quebec Business Partner for RTSPS, having to travel to the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean sites and working in a collaborative community in the S&TI Business Partner team, you will have the following functions: following in the context of the deployment of RTSPS: • Manage requests for new infrastructure and mobility; • Assist in the implementation of standard solutions from working groups; • Define the need and target the solution for digitization and information display requests; • Do pre-deployment preparatory work with respect to data requests and availability; • Coordinate inter-site requests; • Collaborate with S&TI teams during deployments; • Assist in the initiation and application of new practices with on-site operation teams; • Validate and coordinate the fulfillment of requests from the operation teams.

Objectives
Assist in the deployment of RTSPS in the sites of Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean

Qualifications
• Promote the Rio Tinto culture by embracing our core values: Care, Courage and Curiosity; • Five or more years of work experience in the delivery of IT solutions or in the management of IT services; • University degree in a field related to information technology, or equivalent experience; • Have a diversified knowledge of the fields of information technology; • Be able to communicate in French and English; • Knowledge of ITIL processes, an asset; • Work experience in a manufacturing environment, an asset. "
