CGI UK Careers - Be Part of Our Story
Our Tribe is gathering. Join our Agile team and transform businesses and the lives of UK citizens. As a Business Analyst, you can join a high-profile initiative within CGI – being part of a key group using Agile, DevOps and Lean practices to help clients realise their digital transformation ambitions.
Across the Commercial and Government sectors, CGI is supporting and leading this transformation. As part of our Agile Digital Services team, you will help empower clients to increase business agility and deliver greater value, early and incrementally.
CGI was voted ‘Best Workplace’ by Great Place To Work in 2021, and offers a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3% + 3% matching) which makes you a member, not just an employee.
You must already hold, or be prepared to undergo, National Security Vetting (NSV) enhanced Security Check (SC) level.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
As a Business Analyst, you will help us lead and support digital transformation for clients. You’ll be empowered to use your skills to help clients realise opportunities to increase business agility and deliver early, incremental value. You will contribute to individual agile squads, and also help shape the team into a best-in-class agile delivery service.
You’ll contribute across the wider team, assisting others, sharing knowledge and supporting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Working on analysis, process improvement, and requirements management, you will work to define User Stories and Acceptance Criteria, and ensure deliverables support the vision and priorities of the project.
A CGI career within our Agile Tribe will let you stand out, influence and shape a UK team, backed by one of the largest independent technology and business services companies in the world.
You’ll also discover:
● A unique level of variety across different clients and industry sectors
● High-profile, interesting and challenging projects to stretch your skills
● Training and support
● Impactful work that makes a real difference in our communities
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
● Ability to understand the needs of the customer’s business when taking actions or making decisions
● A high level of analytical ability – able to understand situations by breaking them down systematically and identifying the relationships between the component parts
● The ability to apply specific quality standards to all tasks, to ensure deliverables are accurate and complete
● Able to effectively communicate complex solutions across both technical and non-technical stakeholders
● Ideally – but not essential – competence in one or more Agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban or SAFe, along with experience of Government Digital Standards
Our working approach is built around our clients’ needs. That’s not to say yours aren’t important too and in a post-pandemic world, we want to extend the offer of an open discussion to you as to whether a role can be office or home-based, flexible or hybrid.
We celebrate and reward our colleagues through a variety of methods, and we promote the health and well-being of our members through a range of programmes and activities. We are also committed to ensuring a safe work environment through the prevention of harmful workplace incidents including physical harm, harassment and violence.
Unconditionally inclusive – we know diversity brings a greater variety of ideas, perspectives and experiences to the workplace. We actively encourage diversity at CGI and inclusivity is one of our top priorities, with support networks for Parents, Women, LGBT+, BAME, Neurodiversity and Disability.
