Position Description:

This position is to support Microsoft to provide infrastructure services for an ASH (Azure Stack Hub) Secret private cloud offering.  

We are looking for a technical member who can work in a joint MS/CGI team, support the ASH provision and enhance the offering in response to service requests and to help resolve incidents. Also to ensure compliance with MS and MOD security and technical operational processes.

The role is primarily based at MOD Corsham, although some other travel may be required.

Key Duties

Supporting the MS team with technical advice and improvements

Working with the Service Desk and Support analysts to resolve incidents (especially non routine)
Supporting MS with integration and development activities

(One role) to focus on execution and implementation of ITIL Support processes and tooling
(One role) to focus on detailed technical incident and problem resolution

Required Competencies

Experienced in MS Server and System Centre Products
Experienced in AD / ADFS
Problem Solving and Quick Learner

SC Clearance Single Nationality
(EITHER) System Centre ITIL
(OR) Provisioning and Infrastructure Automation

Desired Competencies

MS Azure (Stack Hub or Public Cloud)
Certificate Management
Remedy / OSM
