Position Description:

Join our collaborative team as a Director to support our current client programs and expand our portfolio, specifically in the financial systems area.

Serve as the Manager for Government task orders and work with the Government Contracting Officer (CO), task order-level Task Managers (TM), Government management personnel and customer agency representatives to ensure on-time delivery, quick resolution of impediments and business growth. You will be responsible for the overall management of specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner; managing financials; and support team members on the job and for career growth. You will identify new opportunities to support business growth. You will also conduct business development activities such as potential client meetings and partner contractor discussions, support proposals, and negotiate contracts to expand portfolio.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• As part of the CGI Federal DHS Leadership Team, you will be responsible for tracking and leading business development efforts for your agencies.
• Support and contribute to the growth efforts of the CGI Federal DHS Leadership team opportunities.
• Meet with potential clients and business partners; collaborate with current clients and business partners.
• Manage overall activities of the project to include staffing, financials, client engagement, partner relationship and project execution.
• Ensure that Technical Staff has sufficient expertise and experience to deliver on client commitments.
• Manage CGI members with a focus on career growth, delivery and collaboration.
• Collaborate with direct and indirect teams to develop and ensure submission of proposals for solicitations.
• Proven experience and skill sets in managing complex, fast-paced and highly visible projects using an Agile/SAFe Methodology.
• Ensure an appropriate level of structure, documentation and review in accordance to client and CGI requirements.
• Provide acquisition support in the form of documentation, program management reviews and Acquisition Decision Events.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required.
• People management experience.
• Leadership of Agile development teams for system development/implementation.
• Ability to achieve Secret level clearance.
• Exposure to project financials.
• Must be willing to do both delivery AND business development.

Desired qualifications:
• Experience working with DHS agencies (i.e. CBP, TSA, FEMA, ICE, etc.).
• Financial management system experience.
• PMP – must complete PMP certification within 6 months.
• PMI-ACP or CSM.
