Your future duties and responsibilities:
What do our Cybersecurity Architects do?
•Create and advise/guide the execution/implementation of cybersecurity architecture and defence-in-depth design concepts to ensure our clients’ achieve the most appropriate, effective and operationally viable security;
•Build conceptual architectures for the security products and services that protect many of the largest businesses across Canada and the globe;
•Provide architectural and technical mentorship to clients and colleagues spanning traditional datacenter, to Cloud or Hybrid environments; and
•Collaborate with national and international peers on a diversity of challenging initiatives.
By joining us you will:
•Define end-to-end Cyber Security solutions that take into account the security architectural strategies to address current state environments and constraints for organizations of various sizes and verticals. Analyze the viability of the solution to meet product timelines, budget and quality;
•Present solutions to the CGI leadership team as well as the client stakeholders, both business and technical, as needed;
•Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures of customer environment and recommend changes or enhancements utilizing CGI’s security capabilities ;
•Partner with subject matter experts both within and outside CGI to properly implement security solutions that provide the necessary confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data ;
•Drive business growth with the sales organization in CGI by identifying, evaluating, managing, and executing on strategic customer opportunities ;
•Integrate cybersecurity systems and services into a wide range of IT infrastructures;
•Experience in working with strategic partners is a must.
•Facilitate presentations and meetings with our trusted clients and team members;
•Act as a trusted adviser to customers through building knowledge of their environments
•Maintain an ongoing awareness of trends in cybersecurity technology and regulatory requirements.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
•10 years of experience in architecting security solutions;
•A solid grasp of security topologies like endpoint security technologies, perimeter security technologies, data security technologies, identity and access management solutions, OT security platforms , experience in cloud security technologies(AWS,Azure,GCP), SIEM solutions, Extended detection and response platforms, threat intel platforms, cybersecurity and incident response procedures;
•Experience with vulnerability management and penetration testing systems, tools, practices, and procedures
•Solutions Design experience - developing documentation, estimates, BoMs, proposals and high-level designs
•Experience in constructing Visio diagrams demonstrating security architecture and proposed solutions, building and walking through presentations to articulate the constructed solution;
•Demonstrated ability for analytical thinking and self-directed research in cybersecurity topics;
•Participation in a variety of projects featuring diverse delivery environments and sophisticated security integration demands in both Government and industry;

•A valid CISSP ,CISM, CCSP, CISA , ISSAP, CCSK and other relevant security certifications will be considered;
•Professional Cloud architecture and/or security certification, e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP;
•Technology certifications in various security domains and vendor related certifications will be considered;
•Demonstrable understanding of government security guidelines and standards, including but not limited to NIST 800-53, NIST Cloud Computing Security Reference Architecture, ITSG-33 methodology and the technical control requirements of the Security Assessment & Authorization (SA&A) process;
•The ability to provide advice and mentorship to a technical implementation team to ensure provide effective delivery of client cybersecurity requirements;
