The Business Analyst, Strategic Planning, will join our intensely collaborative team and will contribute to helping CGI leaders shape the strategic direction of one of the world’s largest end-to-end IT and business consulting services firms.

In this role you will have the chance to showcase your team collaboration, data analysis and synthesis abilities, and consultative mindset. This is one of the most unique roles at CGI as you will learn how global professional services firms work, with interactions across every level and function of the organization.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will vary from day-to-day as you learn and take on new responsibilities, but will include:
•Supporting a wide range of data analysis and synthesis, including identifying, collecting, and organizing data that is quantitative and qualitative in nature;
•Consolidating company-wide performance data and working with multiple corporate services functions to gather and validate information;
•Supporting the creation of visualizations, reports, and dashboards using a variety of tools to combine financial, operational and other business data to help surface insights on our performance and opportunities
•Working along side the Manager, Strategic Planning on CEO-related support projects, including quarterly executive forums and annual business planning
•Learning, with the intent of becoming the key point of contact for an internal application/platform that enables consistent reporting across the organization
•Supporting the Vice-President, Strategic Planning on ad-hoc requests on key deliverables for the CEO or executives

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or other related field
• Basic understanding of analyzing and organizing quantitative and qualitative data
• Intermediate MS Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge of Tableau or other data visualization software is a plus
• Ability to work on a variety of projects with different projects managers at the same time
• Active listener who is also open to developing trusted relationships to collaborate with others
• Thinks creatively, willing to ask questions and come up with new ideas as you learn
• Highly organized, quick learner, and flexible to adjust to changing priorities
• Excellent communication skills (spoken & written) in both French & English
