Position Description:

CGI is seeking candidates for a Pega Senior System Architect position within New Jersey account of CGI’s East Business Unit. This is a full time and long term position in the NY/NJ area.
CGI’s NJ Team improves the ground-breaking potential of IT to partner with state and local regulatory agencies to make government processes more efficient through business process re-engineering, workflow automation, systems integration, and enhanced business intelligence. Our team is responsible for providing the technical insight vital to help our clients address challenges and achieve goals.
A successful Software Engineer at CGI possesses a sound understanding of technical standard methodologies and, above all else, a validated passion for technology and its ability to tackle difficult government challenges. While technical knowledge/expertise is meaningful, our Software Engineers must also demonstrate the communication and interpersonal skills vital to work with a team of experts with multi-functional skills.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with application quality, coding, UI and Corporate standards, including review alert logs, running pre-flight and PAL.
Implement standard processes in PEGA architecture / design / coding
Strong communication, problem-solving and leadership skills

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

5+ Years in Pega development overall
3+ Years of Pega PRPC version 7.X platform experience
Experience with process methodology, development methodologies (Agile, SDLC, Iterative) strongly preferred.
Excellent object-oriented analysis and design skills and system integration skills.
5+ years of hands on experience as a system developer working on multi-tier web application
Experience crafting and developing process based solutions or BPM (business process management)
Experience in full PRPC implementation cycle including enterprise Class Structure design and Rulesets design

Desired Skills:
Javascript experience a plus
Experience with Pega PRPC 8.X a plus

Education Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in computer science or related field
Pega CSSA 7.X
