CGI has an immediate need for an ETL Developer to join our financial services team in one of our selected CGI locations. Description
The candidate will be required to be a solid ETL Developer, AWS with excellent technical and communication skills. The candidate must be motivated and must be able to perform on their own with little or no guidance.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

As part of this role, it is required to solve moderately complex problems that require some independent thinking while adhering to agile practices, coding standards, testing methods, and source management guidelines established by the IT group. In addition, the candidate will need to be part of regular code reviews from their peers and senior staff.

The candidate should be good at problem-solving and independently interact with Business users and external partners/vendors for soliciting requirements of what needs to be coded. The candidate will be required to provide guidance to junior-level developers. Be able to articulate opinions on software development issues to the team or workgroup. Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to the Client's vision, values, and principles. Must be able to adjust and cater to changing needs of businesses as they evolve. Foresees potential technical issues and recommends approaches to solve issues. Exhibits a positive can-do attitude towards peers, colleagues, and customers.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 5+ years of relevant experience with ETL
• Interact with external vendors and internal business/product owner team to understand the business requirements
• Analyze requirements/user stories and come up with Technical design
• Work with Database Administrators, Data Modelers, and Business Analysts on solution design and implementation
• Perform Maintenance and Support Activities for application
• Develop /Update Unix shell scripts
• Identify and implement innovation/process impro
​• AbInition experience is a plus​
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Key Skills Needed: Oracle DBA, PL/SQL, Confluence, JIRA, Unix Shell Scripts
