Your day-to-day activities
As Java Developer you will be part of the DevOps team. With a multidisciplinary team you will be working - in an Agile way - on building new functionalities and maintaining existing features. This covers both development and operations; helping to organize the continuous delivery pipeline, connecting to back end systems, performing automated tests and shaping the front end. The high-quality solutions you deliver result in resilient systems.

What do you need to be successful in this role

• Worked on Java 8 or higher
• Spring Boot framework
• Experienced in designing and building RESTful APIs in Java
• Candidates with experience in Swagger would be preferred
• Proven knowledge of Testing frameworks (JUnit and JMeter, etc.)
• Azure Cloud Technologies
• Knowledge of Relational Databases
• CI/CD Tooling (GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, etc.)
• Knowledge of coding standards and principles ex: SOLID principle, Clean code, etc.
• Familiar with Agile concept and Scrum (DevOps experience a pre)
• Strong communication skills (verbal and writing) in English

Mandatory Certifications:
• OCP Java 11
• AZ-900; Azure Fundamentals
• AZ-204; Developing solutions for Azure
• A completed college or university degree with a strong ICT component

As a Java Developer you will be working on new and changing solutions at our clients in the sector Financial Services. Retail and Corporate Banking are rapidly changing. New regulations, increased competition and innovation in the field of FinTech, stimulate the banks to adapt and constantly invest in their application landscape. This is the vibrant environment you will be working in.
