As a Sr. Desktop Engineer SCCM and part of the technical project & consulting team, you will be working on initiatives & projects for various clients who represent multiple global industries. This role will require communication and interaction with multiple internal and external teams to ensure activities are clearly defined and related to industry best practices. With the technical project & consulting team you, will solution design and implement new technology enhancements to achieve targeted results for our clients. If you have extensive experience on SCCM and with Windows and MAC operating systems, endpoint management tools, image creation, application packaging, MDM, VDI, Cloud technology and project management or any combination of the aforementioned, and are excited about continuous learning opportunities we want to hear from you.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Participate as SME on presentation, project proposal & deliveries activities on multi technology related to end user computing
• Design and implement solutions and technologies for endpoint management that meet client requirements and reflect industry best practices and emerging technology of cloud related solutions on Azure & AWS
• Architecture & Design of SCCM infrastructure and SCCM migration activities
• Gathering client business and technical requirements and using them to assemble desktop configuration scripts
• Collecting the required software components from the various hardware and software vendors such as drivers, installation packages and the like for the purpose of creating images for the supported hardware platforms using standard toolsets and processes
• Interaction with other teams of other towers is often required to develop solution & troubleshoot issues
• Responsible for the packaging of applications including all related preparation tasks for enterprise software deployment and for enterprise deployment on operating system
• Documentation on project delivery & transfer to operation

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Experience in one or more endpoint management tools (ex: Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or Symantec Client Management Suite (Altiris))
• Understanding of Windows 10 new features and industry best practice processes
• Knowledge of new and emerging enterprise technologies (ex: Azure, Intune, Windows Analytics, Autopilot)
• Experience with project management and implementation
• Participation in conference calls and presentations to internal and external participants
• Solid understanding of new technologies including application virtualization and software packaging requirements for Windows Vista/7 and Windows 8,10, operating systems
• Flexera AdminStudio 11.5, Flexera AdminStudio 11.5, Wise Package Studio 7.0 and Wise Installation System 9.0, PACE suites
• Experience in creating & design of MSI, VB script and Winbatch
• Workstations physical components
• MS Windows operating system within the users workstations (registers, MS windows installer concept, NTFS security and user rights/administrator and configuration)
• Software integration and installation within a workstation
• High level knowledge of scripting to automate application silent installation
• Experience in creating AppV packages using Microsoft AppV Sequencer or equivalent
• Experience in one or more scripting tools (ex: Batch, PowerShell, VBS, WMI, SQL)
• Advanced knowledge and technical experience with Windows 7&10
• Aptitude for application and system level support, migration, deployment activities
• Independent worker that requires little supervision beyond initial scope expectation and transfer of requirement
