CGI has an immediate need for a L2 Production Support Specialist to join our financial services team in one of our selected CGI locations.

CGI has an immediate need for a Production Support Specialist to join our financial services team in one of our selected CGI locations. Due to the current COVID-19 status, candidates will not be required to work within the physical work location at this time. When COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, they will be required to be located within the proximity of the assigned CGI location.

​Your future duties and responsibilities
​CGI is looking for a L2 Production Support team member to provides support for medium to high complexity tasks and activities. May create and develop software solutions to application errors reported. Escalates unresolved issues to proper personnel. Provides senior-level end-user support, which may include: providing systems administration assistance, coordinating stakeholder discussions, updating user documentation or conducting training.​

Qualificações requeridas para ser bem sucedido neste role:

• Minimum 2+ years direct experience with application or infrastructure operations and support.
• Good organization and communication skills. Strong aptitude for attention to details.
• Knowledge of PC usage and related software packages (e.g. outlook, browsers, SharePoint, Office Suite).
• Experience in general application and infrastructure support (incident, change, problem management, controls, monitoring production processing), ITIL framework and processes, Knowledge management system, ticketing systems (Remedy or ServiceNow) and Service Levels (SLA).
• Experience in a broader array of specialized areas such as infrastructure systems, enterprise applications such as UNIX, autosys, monitoring tools, databases, information security tools, middleware, messaging, commercial cloud tools, etc.

Education Requirements
•Desired Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology Mathematics, Engineering or related field
• 4 years of experience in IT support role may be substituted if the degree is not in business, finance, technology or mathematics
• 6 years of experience of IT support experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree
