CGI is seeking a data reporting & integration analyst to join CGI’s Waterville ME Center. Initial assignment would be supporting a client in the Life Sciences industry. The successful candidates will support an application environment that is critical to several areas of the client’s business. The environment includes OBIEE, Tableau, various ETL tools, and Planisware. The Analysts will perform both support and project work (e.g. enhancements, new development).
Our team helps our clients deploy, upgrade and enhance their instances of Planisware in order to help them maximize the benefits they derive from using the application, while providing support to ensure that the systems are reliable and stable for their end users. This position will allow the successful candidate to learn about multiple phases of activity within life sciences companies, e.g. R&D, Clinical Trials, Manufacturing, and the opportunity to grow professionally through contributing to CGI’s Planisware practice. Internal and external training will be provided to help the successful candidates develop their Planisware skills. Finally, this role will provide the successful candidates the opportunity for a professional IT career, serving clients from various industries and working with varied technologies, while continuing to be based in Waterville ME
Your future duties and responsibilities:
The Support Analysts responsibilities will include:
• Assess, investigate and resolve issues reported by Client support team in OBIEE, various ETL tools, and possibly Planisware.
• Execute short term projects in the above applications
• Regularly contribute to refining operating processes and tooling to improve how the team operates.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
1. 2-5 years’ experience in reporting support and/or development
2. Experience troubleshooting and defining application issues
3. Ability to update support and development related documentation, e.g. solution design, testing results
4. Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
5. Ability to gather and understand a client’s requirements
6. Experience developing reports
7. Ability to conduct research to find solutions that are beyond existing knowledge
8. Track record of being able to learn new applications, and ongoing interest in learning new technologies
10. Experience with OBIEE, ETL tools, e.g Informatica, or Tableau a plus
11. Interest in pursuing Planisware Certification
1. Familiarity with project management concepts
2. Life Sciences sector experience – understanding of pharmaceutical company R&D and Manufacturing processes
Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree
