The role will be based in Milton Keynes and is perfect for a passionate individual with both a consulting and an asset finance background who wants to bring their Oracle technical expertise to a growing team providing an established Oracle product to a blue chip asset finance business.

Fonctions et responsabilités :

The primary objective of your role will be to design, develop and maintain the technical solution for CGI’s asset finance product. In this role you will provide assurance and control, enhancement and transformations on the product such that the integrity, availability, and performance of the services provided by CGI to its asset finance Customer is not compromised.

Your responsibilities can be broadly split between two distinct but related scenarios, project delivery and product transformations. When working within a project the scope of your role will be to ensure the objectives are met for a single project. However when performing the role on transformations the scope of responsibility is extended to ensure that the transformations provide the right business value-add, enhanced customer experience and quality excellence.

On a specific project you will understand and seek clarification on project requirements during analysis/design phases, ensuring that these are understood by the delivery teams. You will architect the project Solution and design along with impact analysis and identify mitigations to any technical risks identified. You will validate and verify estimates to deliver the project requirements before quote is submitted to the customer.

On a project you will also oversee the full project life-cycle from design though to implementation in the production environment, collaborating with all project stakeholders, taking responsibility of the technical ownership of the solution ensuring it fits within the existing service landscape. This will also see you providing subject matter expertise (functional/technical) to development and support teams on the product

As an SME you will provide specialist vision to the overall solution for a proposal, consultancy or project, and will take the lead in the proposal, development or delivery of their specialism in an engagement.

You will own the delivery of client commitments in your specialism and will creates innovative and compelling solutions

Product Transformation Responsibilities:

Collaborating with the functional Product Owner to ensure that the transformation initiative as per customer needs are identified and progressed for implementation.

Contributing to the Digital Transformation, Automation initiatives for improved business and increased customer satisfaction

Architecting the product technical solution and design along with impact analysis and identify mitigations to any technical risks identified.

Owning and defining product technical solutions for the delivery, working with the business, technical and project management teams as well as promoting the solution to the project teams and client.

You will manage stakeholder expectations for both the client and CGI organisations

Driving the product’s technical input to change governance and opportunity identification in the engagement

Coordinating plans and actions with CGI and client management

Identifying and qualifying opportunities for follow-on work.

Qualités requises pour réussir dans ce rôle :

The ideal person for this role will have strong domain knowledge/ subject matter expertise within the Automotive Asset Management sector (Pre Sales, Sales, Service, Disposal, Collection Support, Third Party Interfacing)

Second choice to Automotive Asset Management would be experience of providing Oracle expertise in any type of asset finance, and third choice would be experience of working within the financial services sector.
You will have proven experience of visualizing the road-map for a product and should have the technical skills to get into the design tools and understand them.
Essential technical skills include:
• Oracle Fusion 11g
• Oracle Database 12c
• Java/J2EE, Web Services, JBOSS
• Experience of Agile and DevOps rollout
• Product Enhancements/Transformations

Desirable technical skills include:
• Progress Open Edge 11.x
• Application Modernisation
• API’s using JSON and, Net framework
• Digital Transformation experience
