Sector Leads at CGI have full P&L responsibility for a variety of managed Commercial & State & Local IT business processes. CGI is seeking an individual with demonstrated performance leading accounts of more than $40m revenue per year, capturing deals with total contract value from $1-100m, and managing program resources for profitable organic growth. Specifically, this role will be responsible for leading strategy and developing future opportunities in CGI’s IT services framework with targeted customers within Commercial and State & Local. The successful executive must know how to manage and mentor a team of individual contributor business development executives as well as manage client satisfaction in partnership with account management teams. This business leader will also drive strategic planning, management and direction of bid and proposal (B&P) resources, target identification, capture strategies, proposal management, contract award, and customer relations. This senior executive collaborates with counterparts across the world to ensure best of breed solutions are brought forward to customers and ensures CGI is appropriately positioned within the Commercial and State & Local client base.
Kvalifikationer för att bli framgångsrik i denna roll:
• Must currently live in the Los Angeles area a minimum of 5 years.
• Successfully run a min $50-75 Million+ P&L. • A minimum of 15 years of business development and strategy experience within organizations known for building high performing business development functions. • Demonstrated history of winning large, competitive IT consulting contracts. • Solid relationships with key commercial & state & local government contracting personnel in the company’s core business lines. • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build win-win partnerships within a firm/corporation, with a particular focus on understanding how to leverage technology differentiators. • Demonstrated ability to identify emerging business trends resulting in strategy recommendations to senior management. • Ability to constructively influence and interact at the highest levels of the company and in target customer agencies. • Excellent communication skills and highly effective interpersonal skills are required as well as an ability to inspire confidence and provide business development leadership throughout the company. Personal Characteristics: • The successful candidate will have a high energy level and be motivated by working with bright, driven people in a values-based culture. • They will be independent, self-starting, and be able to stay calm under the pressures of multiple deadlines, possessing good multitasking skills. • In addition, they will have excellent organization skills and serve as an effective team player, working well with their peer group and support staff. • They will be results-oriented with a strong record of accomplishment of delivering for their team. Education: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree from a leading academic institution. A Masters or other advanced degrees/relevant certifications are desirable.
