Position Description:

Director of Consulting Services to build and grow client relationships across Manufacturing and Retail clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to join CGI, a leading IT and business process services firm for a permanent position in the New York and/or surrounding states to provide consulting and IT services to our local clients. We are seeking a Director, Consulting Services, who will have senior responsibility to develop, implement and maintain a strategic account plan designed to grow revenue volume from within existing and new accounts in the Manufacturing and Retail Sectors. You will manage the entire lifecycle of the sales and delivery process for a small portfolio of accounts within the marketplace.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Bring deep Manufacturing and/or Retail, business process, IT knowledge and delivery capability, be integrated into the State market place and will be responsible for bringing solutions and thought leadership to our clients.
• Work well in collaborative environments.
• Be highly motivated by delivering excellent services to our clients and ensuring their satisfaction
• Will lead a team of consultants for proposals and projects to create business solutions based on client growth requirements and market-driven business enhancements and will take accountability for the winning of competitive proposals and the successful execution of assignments, projects and large delivery programs coordinating with local and global delivery centers
• Will use and leverage their experience and creativity to design, propose and execute solutions for complex client problems in advanced business and technology environments.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Prior experience selling and delivering into Manufacturing or Retail companies for an IT services consulting firm or strong relationships on the business side of Retailers and Manufacturing companies in the New York and surrounding states area. Self-starter with strong communication skills; able to capture a room and engage with C-level executives; Strategic thinker; and problem solver.

Experience with Business Development, Supply Chain, Logistics, Retail POS, Planning, Merchandising, Store systems & ERP
