Come and join our Banking and Financial Markets team as an Integration Architect in our Milton Keynes offices. You will be joining an established team who are working with cutting edge technology in the Collections and Asset Finance domains
CGI are undertaking a product modernisation programme for one of our largest financial services customer’s underpinned by CGI IP. The programme includes delivery of a new modern user interface, user experience optimisation and new data integration services.
You will play a key role in the transformation of legacy applications within our Asset Finance client.
You will bridge the gap between the technical team and business team and will be responsible for the definition, validation and promotion of quality solutions. You will provide technical expertise and leadership in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software / APIs
You will develop a standard for application and data integration
You will support the design and implementation within the technology area and you will be creating quality technical design ensuring that the functional and non-function requirements are met.
You will play a key part in the co-ordination and mentoring of both on and off-shore development teams as well as full project delivery from requirements gathering to completion
As an Integration Architect you will be required to ensure software meets or exceeds specified standards and requirements and you will develop a road-map of future integration candidates or solutions to enhance our IP.
The ideal person for this role will have a solid experience of API design/development and will; have previously lead a team of developers. This is not a people manager role, but you must have previous experience of guiding teams and ensuring they adhere to the correct standards and deliver when needed.
You will have solid Java experience as a Java/J2EE developer, and will have experience of Java Frameworks (Spring MVC, Spring security). Our framework is largely based on Webservices, so it’s essential you have experience of that. We also require someone with experience of Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, good knowledge of Oracle (SQL - PL/SQL), use of JSON for exchanging data in the APIs and experience of API conversions to Rest.
