Description du poste :

CGI is seeking a seasoned storage consultant to join our growing team supporting CGI clients through end to end solution offerings and professional services to the NetApp Suite of Products. The successful candidate must be able to work in a cross-functional environment and interact with representatives from CGI, NetApp, and the end-clients. This storage professional will be work at various CGI/and client sites consulting and executing various storage initiatives from implementations, migrations, managing storage environments, and more.

These roles can be housed in various locations. Travel will be required for these roles.

Fonctions et responsabilités :

• Translating customer business requirements into technical and system solutions
• Providing technical analysis to ensure solutions are operationally sound
• Performing complex technical work which will include speic and testing code, proof of concepts, documentation, and working with infrastructure (storage, network and servers) in some capacity.
• Install and configure NetApp storage systems and products
• Capacity planning, management and analysis
• Defines and/or contributes to storage policies and procedures
• Implement, design, monitor, trouble shoot and maintain NetApp storage environments
• Problem analysis and resolution

Qualités requises pour réussir dans ce rôle :

• Strong Interpersonal /teaming skills working in large/small team of consultants as well as educate customers on CGI & NetApp best practice
• Ability to understand and convey customer needs and your recommendations to other developers
• Good skills with the NetApp Suite of Products, Third Party Applications & Tools, MS Office toolset
• Effectively work in a team environment and strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as collaboration skills to direct resources across multiple disciplines
• Experience working on projects for data migration and/or new application deployment
• Consultative
• A “go getter” mentality – no sitting idle
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Must have experience working in skilled diverse teams (technical and non-technical)
