This is a great opportunity to become an employee of CGI, based in Edmonton, to provide leading information technology services to our clients. We are seeking two Junior .net Analysts who has a minimum of 1 year of IT experience working with the following technologies:

• .NET with an emphasis on C#
• SQL skills (Microsoft SQL Server)
• SSRS reports or other reporting architectures

As part of the team, you will be charged with working on maintenance service requests delivering the highest of quality.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Following defined processes in the delivery of all application maintenance activities, i.e. Enhancements, corrective changes, environmental changes.
• Applying server upgrades and patches.
• Preparing detailed specifications for program enhancements
• Solving problems
• Working closely with key clients to understand business requirements and manage priorities.
• Providing accurate estimates, applying changes, performing effective testing, and deploying solutions.
• Proactively managing incidents and appropriately escalating issues.
• Participating in multiple assignments at the same time

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Successfully graduated from a 2 year diploma program or better in Computer Science/Information Technology
• A minimum of 1 year related IT experience
• Experience in analysis, design and maintenance or development of application systems using the technologies described
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• The ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities
• The ability to work in a team environment
• The ability to perform successfully with supervision
• Proven problem solving and decision-making skills
