Position Description:

To fulfil this role, you must have at least 5 years’ experience in the SAP technology area you are managing.

By accepting this role, you are expected to perform the following role (but not limited to) in the Business Unit’s projects and initiatives.
a. Technical Service Consultant

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Technical Service Consultant - Responsibilities

1. Become a solid source of information in your area of expertise. Solid source of information and knowledge on the following modules within SAP Sales and Distribution:
a. Enterprise Structure
b. Master Data
c. Sales
d. Shipping
e. Transportation
f. Billing
g. Pricing
h. Free Goods
i. Taxes
j. Account Assignment
k. Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements
l. Output Control
m. Material Determination
n. Listing/Exclusion
o. Partner Determination
p. Text Control
q. Log of Incomplete Items
r. Credit Management
s. Sales Information System
t. Routines

2. Responsible for scoping and analyzing current business processes and requirements
3. Designs “to be” processes using vast business process knowledge and experience aligned with SAP best practices
4. Performs actual configuration in IMG to meet client needs and requirements
5. Executes system and integration testing
6. Monitors/Coordinates User acceptance testing
7. Formulates/writes functional specifications for customized programs
8. Creates test scripts
9. Oversees pre-production and cutover activities
10. Facilitates team meetings
11. Supervises activities and monitors progress of SD junior consultants and competence team members
12. Conducts project team training
13. Coordinates with other teams especially with regard to integration points between SAP modules (i.e. MM – Goods movements; FI – Accounting entries)
14. Creates customized reports using ABAP queries
15. Coordinates with client/ project team on the creation and maintenance of master data (such as customers, materials, condition records, etc.)
16. Oversees creation and maintenance or user profiles and authorizations
17. Creates and monitors the movement of transport requests
18. Performs configuration requests raised by clients
19. Analyzes reported incidents by the clients and provides a resolution within agreed SLA
20. Completes service requests
21. Handles overall supervision of the team
22. Coordinates with other application support teams
23. Formulates functional specifications for customized reports and programs.
24. Performs unit, regression and integration tests
25. Conducts risk and impact analysis of change requests raised by users
26. Assigns calls to other team members
27. Conducts end user training
28. Creates and monitors the movement of transport requests
29. Able to mentor junior consultants in the aspect of technical know-how and career progression
30. Acts as the last level of support for high complexity and high priority issues
31. Create documentation and white papers that will be used in case studies and training session for more junior members.
32. Conduct regular knowledge sharing sessions to members of the company.
33. Co-team with the Solutions Architect to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements
34. Produce a detailed technical design document to match the solution design specifications
35. Complete/oversee the custom development and quality assurance efforts for custom work
36. Participate and lead, when needed, the project meetings with the customer
37. Manage development designs and projects to meet project and customer required time lines.
38. Provide Customer Training as required.

1. Be aware of one’s obligation under legislation governing data protection, computer misuse, copyright protection, intellectual property, the retention of public records and the common law; both local and countries where services are provided.
2. Act with propriety in the use of the business units’ Information resources;
3. Familiarize with and conform to the Information Security policy and related Standards, Guidelines, etc;
4. Report immediately to one’s Line Manager and Information Security Officer, any breaches, or suspected breaches, of the CGI Philippines Information Security policy.
