Position Description:

The Datastage Developer individual provides functional/technical knowledge and skills for the NA Integration entity. The key responsibilities are modification/development of Integration flows while helping Integration support team if needed.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Development Activities

1) Support all stages of SDLC as required.

2) Work with the Support team as required.

3) Work with Front Office/Back Office to deliver projects on time.

4) Review Deliverable's from team members.

5) Ensure that all Deliverable's meet the Quality standards.

6) Perform development tasks independently as assigned.

7) Perform testing tasks independently.

8) Support the integration lead with generating estimates.

9) Take ownership of tasks and provide status to Integration Lead and Project managers.

10) Support the integration team with analysis of flows as needed for projects.

11) Ensure that integration documents such as the Integration Catalog, Maintenance Manuals, Delivery documents are up-to-date and in SVN.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Datastage 8.7 tools and related technologies in IBM Infospehere framework.

• Understanding of protocols: FTP/FTPS/SFTP/MQ/HTTP/HTTPS/SOAP/Pelican.

• Understanding of basic Networking with Firewalls.

• Skilled in Unix/WAS/Windows OS.

• Oracle (11g or higher).

• Understanding of WebServices.

• Well versed with Scripting (Pearl/Bash/KornShell)

• Knowledge of Maestro Scripts and jobs.



Preferred Skills

• WMB 6.0 and above.

• Understanding of IHS, Routing/Transformations, Load Balancers, Failovers etc.

• Datapower

• TALEND

• Subversion.

• Good communication skills

• Xnet framework
