Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a Technical Lead for a long-term project with the US Secret Service.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

- A technical expert across various technology disciplines (e.g., networking, applications development and data extraction, transformation and load.
- Consult with the government on systems architecture as the architecture is evolved during development.
- Recommend alternatives and trade-offs that may arise as the architecture evolves for consideration by the government. These alternatives and trades may be in areas such as performance, interoperability, security, reliability, availability, scalability, reusability, maintainability and configurability.
- Establish continuous integration and automated testing capabilities to ensure they support completion of user stories in accordance with the agreed Definition of Done.
- Consult with government technical contact to obtain appropriate levels of access for system administration responsibilities and to systems and information necessary to perform work in this order.
- Recommend technical stories for consideration by the government for inclusion on the product backlog as necessary to accomplish refactoring to improve the overall quality of the system.
- Recommend points at which sprints dedicated to architectural issues are appropriate.
- Participate actively in architectural review activities.
- The government expects the technical lead to be a key resource with proven experience and skillsets in development, architecture and infrastructure supporting custom systems and in leading complex, fast-paced and highly visible projects using an Agile methodology, preferably within the Scrum framework.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 15 years of experience
- Experience with Service Now
