Position Description:

As a member of the project team, provides analytical support to project team(s), conducting research and data analysis to support the team's analysis and conclusions. May focus skills in a specific industry. Daily contact with lower and middle level management in the field.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Technical Design review & Code review for complex customizations
• Design technical specifications based on functional design and business requirements
• Development of Ariba customizations and configurations based on technical and functional documents. Includes hands-on involvement in designing, coding, and testing of program modules
• Adherence to project coding and naming standards in all assigned modules
• Creation of test scenarios, its execution, and documentation of results to ensure that developed solution meets business requirements
• Maintenance, fix, and performance tuning of environments within the infrastructure
• Provide technical support for end users and development of fixes for production issues

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Primary Skill: SAP ARIBA
• Secondary skill: Java, On premise
• Experience with Procurement System and Architecture
• Experience in configuration and customizations of Ariba 9r1 downstream (Buyer, Invoicing, Contracts & ACP ) and upstream modules (Sourcing and Analysis)
• Experience with relational databases(Oracle, SQL Server) and able to create and debug SQL
• Knowledge in using version control and defect tracking tools
• Experience with UNIX and/or Linux
• Ability to provide production support, maintenance and defect fix
• Ability to prioritize and work on several tasks
• Ability to Develop, design, analyze and implement solutions in the Ariba Environment
• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written). Thrive on collaborating with on-site and off-shore counterparts.
• Prior Ariba upgrade experience is a plus
• Candidate must be willing to work late nights and/or weekends, as needed to support the production application and complete build schedules on time
• Experience in system administration duties is an advantage, but not required
• Flexible to work in Shifts: 1-10PM(If required Stretching Overnight weekly once)
• Typically holds any graduate degree from a recognized school.
