Develop and support applications for large government clients as well as support their infrastructure and operations and are continuously evaluating and integrating technologies such as Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, Splunk, Angular, Vue.js, Knockout.js, Azure and AWS cloud technologies among others. We are looking for a candidate who can help broaden the group’s knowledge and experience by contributing to research efforts and sharing and presenting their knowledge with other developers. This position requires complex problem-solving including the ability to design and build an application for optimal performance. The candidate selected for this position will have the opportunity to grow their technical and leadership skills while working with a positive, energetic, team. The ideal candidate will also be interested in exposure and collaboration with other development teams within CGI to participate in architecture reviews, peer-solutioning, proposal support, knowledge sharing events, etc. Candidates will be asked to help architect and develop new web applications, work directly with clients and end-users to understand functional needs, and mentor and support team members to foster timely, best-practice development.
At least 7 years’ experience in web application development.
