Your future duties and responsibilities:

•Manage credit cards application testing, interface with Client application owners & corresponding Development Teams
•Act as a test subject matter expert on the Banking domain, specifically for credit card applications, guiding & mentoring Team members from CGI as well as the Client’s Team
•Manage all activities of the Testing Team, including work allocations, test planning, design, execution & defect triage
•Participate & lead discussions around what tests can be automated vs. what cannot
•Perform requirements analysis and quality risk analysis
•Develop or assist in developing strategic/tactical testing deliverables
•Identify, develop, and document test conditions/scenarios and traceability matrix(ces)
•Perform test analysis and design
•Identify and prepare test data, and Manage Test data for the duration of the project
•Assign tasks and assignments to test team members
•Monitor and manage completion of assigned testing scope and deliverables
•Ensure quality processes are followed
•Execute testing cycle activities as defined in the test plan
•Identify, log, and follow-up on all defects encountered
•Perform additional system testing-related activities, as required
•Communicate progress of testing activities to the client stakeholders
•Produce “client-facing” and “CGI-internal” status reports, as required
•Participate in lessons learned reviews
•Participate in pertinent team training activities
•Maintain solid understanding of software testing best practices, methodologies and terminology
•Act as a mentor for test team members and provide performance feedback

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

•Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and/or Business ... or...
•Diploma in IT and/or Business with equivalent IT experience
•Industry recognized testing certification(s)

Must Have Skills and Experience
•Minimum 7+ yrs working in Software Testing, Quality Assurance
•Minimum 5+ yrs working in progressive Business/IT Sector
•Minimum 5+ yrs working knowledge of the banking space
•Minimum 3+ yrs testing credit card applications on banking environments
•Minimum 4+ yrs of prior leadership experience & leading test teams
•Minimum 2+ yrs of knowledge transfer work experience
•Minimum 4+ yrs working with HP ALM and/or similar Test management tools
•Minimum 5+ yrs working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Nice to Have Skills and Experience
•Experience on Test automation using Selenium, QTP, Parasoft SOAtest would be a great plus
•Experience testing Web Services

•Excellent communication skills with the ability to represent the Testing Team on all Client Senior Management meetings, stake holder meetings
