The Senior Infrastructure Architect (IDA) role bridges the gap between the Solution Architect, development team, business team and project management. The IDA role will define, validate and promote the right technical solution for a bid, a deal or a project.

You will be a Pre-Sales Cloud subject matter expert within the Solution Architecture and Sales (SAaS) team, competent to work on a range of opportunities up to large scale solutions.
You will be responsible for complex opportunities, which will involve cloud solutions which require an element of integration migration, creation of innovative solutions and management of risk.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Specifically the IDA is able to build logical models of infrastructure components and interfaces, to contribute to the development of service architecture in specific business or functional areas. These models will reflect the architecture views and can be mapped to the solution architecture. The IDA produces detailed component specifications and translates these into detailed designs for implementation using selected products.
The IDA defines, validates and promotes the solution for a bid, a deal or a project (in a project scope / a dedicated scope within a programme) within our team and to the customer.
The IDA assists in the preparation of technical plans, change governance and estimation from many sources to support the full project lifecycle.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Risk and Cost Driven Architecture aware.
TOGAF aware.
Familiar in multiple cloud products - AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Knowledge and experience of common infrastructure products and services (e.g. Microsoft 365/Public Cloud)

Proven track record in leading the development of a range of infrastructure solutions, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external/internal customers.
