An experienced Pega Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining applications built on the Pega platform. As a Pega Developer, you will be involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support. Skillful Pega Developers will also have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and experience with relational databases and web technologies.
• Design and Develop web applications and web services using software’s like PEGA PRPC & CSHC, Java, HTML, JavaScript, ASP.Net, XML, SQL, Visual Studio.Net

• Developing conceptual and technical design
• Efficiently perform the day to day design documentation, analysis and development tasks
• Partners with infrastructure and business teams in order to design solutions and resolve business system issues
• Works closely with members of the development and QA teams to review requirements and implement solutions
• Participates in meetings, provides input to presentations, and provides consulting services to business partners and Bas
• Participates in walkthrough reviews of specifications and technical designs 
• Define ad-hoc processes as necessary
• Develop business rules that work in conjunction with business processes to ensure a complete solution
• Responsible for development and maintenance of Pega application & interfaces
• Update and Maintain documents that includes guardrails and best practices by implementing necessary policies and also train others in the critical success factors of the policy
• Assist with troubleshooting and debugging of Pega applications to clearly identify root cause of production level architecture issues and make practical suggestions with proof-based technical reasoning
• Configure Web applications software to implement Screenpop Functionality for Anthem Call Centers
• Concentrate on providing innovative solutions to more complex business needs
• Actively take a leading role and participate on project teams in various project roles, including, but not limited to, Developer, Technical Lead and Project Manager, based upon level of experience
• Effectively communicate with team members, customers, partners and management, including assisting with or conducting more complex technical walk-throughs, reporting project status, enabling vendor solutions and providing accurate and concise documentation
• Responsible for design, development, and support of a PEGA PRPC based applications as specified by our business partners
• Developing new features and problem identification and resolution
• Implementing and assisting in designing analysis that will identify requirements related to people, processes and technology
• Participate in implementing the technical infrastructure, including networks, platforms and servers, enterprise enabling, application enabling, security and operations management
• Maintaining, tuning and repairing applications to keep them performing in accordance to technical and functional specifications
• Assists in the formulation and definition of system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems
• Performing system performance tests.
• Designs, codes, tests, debugs document and maintains application programs
• Integrating business databases, legacy systems, and web services.
• Troubleshooting application issues, coding bugs, and bottlenecks
• PEGA Certified & good telecom domain knowledge.
• Good problem-solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication.
Pega Developer Requirements
• Working experience is a must as a Pega developer.
• Advanced understanding of Pega PRPC 5.x/6.x/7.x.
• Knowledge of Java, JSP, J2EE, XML, and EJB.
• Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of coding languages such as Java, Angular JS, and JQuery is required.
• Understanding of web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and XML
• Excellent project management skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues
