DevSecOps Engineer - Active Top Secret required

Position Description:

If you are an experienced DevSecOps engineer with demonstrated problem-solving, communication and collaborative skills with business and technical teams in a dynamic environment, we want to talk to you.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• You will plan, design, implement, deliver and support the various platforms for production and non-production environments.
• We would want you to provide direction during various operations such as deployment and general application operations.
• By collaborating with developers, you will establish and ensure environments meet requirements and conform to best practices Manage code releases.
• Your experience working on delivering solutions for globally distributed, large scale Agile software development teams will be leveraged.
• You will work with Cloud based infrastructures and Cloud platform as a service (PaaS) on which developers can build, deploy, run and scale applications.
• You will establish and maintain a CI/CD pipeline with integration into the development (GIT) and agile management environments

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• US Citizenship and a TOP SECRET clearance are required
• Overall, 7-10 years of experience.
• 2+ years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering role.
• Experience working with AWS cloud architecture.
• Knowledge of databases and SQL (Structured Query Language).
• Experience with:
i. Automated testing tools such as Selenium (thus we aren’t saying only this software)
ii. Security scanning tools such as Checkmarx (unless there is something specific to the project)
iii. Quality scanning tools such as SonarQube (unless there is something specific to the project)
iv. Binary Repositories such as Artifactory
v. Code Management Software such as Bitbucket
• Review, analyze, recommend solutions/ best practices and tools to improve the software development process. Identifying and collecting metrics to measure the success/maturity of these decisions/solutions.
• You are able to work successfully in an environment that encourages autonomy in the work that you do.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $94,400 - $209,100.
