Position Description:

CGI is looking for a skilled Java Developer with specialized experience in Oracle Flexcube to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications, with a focus on integrating and customizing Oracle Flexcube solutions. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our client's needs.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Develop new features and functionalities within Flexcube using Java, PL/SQL, etc.
• Customize and configure Oracle Flexcube to align with organizational requirements.
• Integrate Flexcube with other banking systems and third-party applications.
• Document customizations, configurations, and integrations for reference and support.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Flexcube installations.
• Communication with client stakeholders and partners
• Ensuring that software meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
• Iterative feature development on an agile team.
• Daily agile SCRUM participation

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 3+ years’ experience as Java developer and Oracle Flexcube
• 5+ years of overall software development experience
• Strong understanding of PL/SQL for database interactions.
• Knowledge of XML for data interchange and configuration.
• Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience in Cobol would be a plus
• Familiarity with banking processes and financial industry regulations.
• Ability to customize and configure Oracle Flexcube to meet business requirements.
• Experience with integration technologies and APIs for system integration.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong experience of writing and maintaining unit tests.
• Experience with GIT version control
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong ability to adapt and learn new skills and technologies on the fly.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $67,800-$105,200.
