AI Specialist

We are looking for a motivated individual who will be able to help our clients deliver their ambitions with AI. As an AI Specialist, you will be designing, implementing and optimizing AI-driven applications and systems, with main focus on Generative AI. You will work in consulting assignments in software development projects in close co-operation with our clients and your CGI colleagues.

Main responsibilities:

 - Conceptualize and implement AI solutions for our clients, with special focus on Generative AI.
 - Develop and optimize AI solution using suitable languages and different frameworks.
 - Integrate Generative AI capabilities into software applications for enhanced user experiences.
 - Collaborate with clients to deploy and maintain AI assisted systems in production environments.
 - Stay updated on the latest AI and especially Generative AI applications and methodologies.
 - Provide technical guidance on AI initiatives and projects.

Your future team

In this role, you will be part of our innovation center of excellence (ICE) working with our key clients. ICE is responsible for driving AI, cloud, design, data & analytics and process automation in our Finland, Poland and Baltics business area. Our clients include leading organizations in the private and public sectors.

The location of this role is Helsinki or capital area, but we operate in a flexible hybrid model.

Experience that we believe would help you be successful in this role

- A degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in some of the common programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Frontend development experience with e.g. React or Angular is an asset.
- Demonstrated expertise in AI development.
- Interest and some experience in Generative AI frameworks and libraries.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
- Good oral and written skills in Finnish and English languages are required.
