Position Description:

We are seeking a Director Consulting Services (Client Account Management & Business Development) - Public Sector to join our CGI team in Phoenix, AZ!

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a portfolio of engagements for our state and local government clients.

You will have senior management responsibility with a significant focus on business development and delivery of consulting/products/services to our clients.

Our ideal candidate should possess deep public sector experience, specifically in the field of IT, selling consulting services, IP, and delivering IT solutions to clients in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area.

As the DCS, you will have an opportunity to grow and lead a team of directors, senior consultants, and consultants that will be part of your business development and delivery organization.

You will lead strategic pursuits, guide proposal building and orals presentations to create business solutions based on client requirements and market-driven business enhancements. Your team will take accountability for the winning of competitive proposals and the successful executions of assignments, projects and large delivery programs coordinating with local and global delivery centers.

Employ and leverage your experience and creativity to design, propose and execute solutions for complex client problems in advanced business and technology environments.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Overall accountability for prospecting new clients, growing a portfolio of engagements, and successfully delivering service to our clients.

• Develop a strong pipeline of opportunities within new and existing accounts within the portfolio.

• Provide industry thought leadership through publications, social media, and client relationships.

• Leverage strong existing network to drive new opportunities and client relationships.

• Be the driving factor in proposals and evolve solution offerings.

• Provide leadership to a team of professionals – both direct reports and via global delivery.

• Ensure success of engagements using global delivery and vendor partners.

• Manage client satisfaction in partnership with account management teams.

• Apply delivery and customer management best practices.

• Apply member management best practices such as succession planning, member performance reviews, and professional development plans.

• Contribute to business strategy and budget planning.

• Manage profitability of engagements.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

A minimum of 10 years of experience in leading medium to large teams of IT professionals

• At least 10 years of experience defining, selling and delivering complex business transformation technology solutions, including systems integration.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing a P&L within a consulting organization (or a significant management role within a practice) with a focus on both sales and delivery.

• Demonstrated ability to define strategic plans and implement a growth strategy in a consulting services environment.

• Results oriented business leader with solid understanding of budgets, forecasting, planning, P&L’s, complex pricing models, and complex contracts management.

• Proven experience building and maintaining relationships with C level client executives with a goal to become their trusted advisor.

• A keen, flexible and solution-oriented intellect; superior conceptual thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels.

• Strong and balanced attention to detail and quality.

• Bachelor’s degree required. Master's degree is a plus.

• Ability for periodic travel as required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Experience in health and human services

• Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (financial management, human resource management, budgeting, procurement, inventory/facilities management)

• Experience in data governance, master data management, and data analytics

• Experience in intelligent automation, including robotic process automation and artificial intelligence

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $134,500 - $235,400.”
