Position Description:
The HR Systems Solutions Specialist will join the Global Talent Management team and support the Global Talent Management COE in the development and enhancement of talent management solutions across CGI. The successful candidate will support CGI’s growth strategy through the evolution of our talent systems and tools (including but not limited to performance management, talent assessments, succession planning, member experience, listening strategies, recognition platforms) by being responsible for the following:
Your future duties and responsibilities:
•Undertake the complete technical design of various applications using templates and tools and/or assist as part of a team on the design components of larger systems
•Specify user/system interfaces and translate technical physical designs into technical solutions taking into account of target environment, performance requirements and existing systems
•Produce detailed designs and documents all work using required standards, methods and tools
•Contribute to the development of standards and processes
•Support the team in troubleshooting technical issues
•Gather, summarize and prioritize recommendations of system and tool enhancements.
•Define business requirements in partnership with subject matter expert(s) and the CIO.
•Draft business cases.
•Document change requests and understand/analyze impacts of change requests.
•Draft test scripts.
•Coordinate User Acceptance Tests (UAT).
•Support the design and delivery of training on global systems and tools for HRBPs, Organizational Development Leads, Global HR Member Services, Leaders and Members.
•Design/update documentation and communication material associated with changes to global systems and tools (including translations and revisions), in partnership with subject matter expert(s).
•Design/update the support model of all talent management programs in partnership with subject matter expert(s).
•Design/update solutions and Q&A used by the HR contact center in partnership with subject matter expert(s).
•Prepare the kickoff of the performance and talent cycle in various tools (i.e. update notifications as needed, update documentation, etc.).
•Produce reports on talent analytics as needed.
•Answer questions on global talent systems and tools.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
•Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a business or systems analyst or a similar role.
•Experience and expertise acquired through the development and deployment of systems and tools. Detail and action oriented, autonomous and flexible.
•Ability to influence without authority using strong consultation and facilitation skills.
•Strong problem solving with demonstrated ability to foresee potential issues, have a sound sense of judgment, high reasoning ability to improvise and advocate solutions to problems
•Ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical audiences, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills with all hierarchy levels including executives in a virtual and multicultural context.
•Work well during times of transition and able to help others to manage and adjust to change.
•High degree of systemic thinking, customer focus, teamwork, adaptability and delivery of results.
•Results oriented, completes assigned activities within agreed timeframes, able to recognize priorities and deliver results
•Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, applications and systems
•Computer savvy – skilled in the use of software, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
•Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
•Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM (PSA) an asset.
