Contracts and Commercial Manager - Defence & Intelligence

We are looking for a Contracts and Commercial Manager to act as a member of the of the Contracts and Commercial team supporting the Space, Defence and Intelligence Business Unit.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
The role will support the end-to-end lifecycle of strategic Subcontracting. From supporting CGI capture teams with Subcontract strategies in competitive pursuits, through to the execution and management of critical contracts, supporting delivery to CGI Clients.
The role will be centred around the drafting and negotiating of subcontracts to support customer contracts. These will include delivery subcontracts, consultancy frameworks, strategic teaming agreements and non-disclosure agreements in both pursuit of winning new business and in the delivery of current Client contracts.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
You will have a proven background and several years’ experience in contract drafting, negotiation and having managed a variety of different contracts.
Current SC clearance or the ability to obtain it is essential.
• Solid commercial awareness
• Attention to detail and production of good quality work.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Be a team player with the ability to work remotely, organisational skills and the ability to manage one’s own workload.
• CIPS or IACCM qualifications would advantageous and opportunities to progress qualifications would be encouraged.
• Current SC clearance or the ability to obtain it is essential.
