Organizational Development Manager
Position Description:
Working on the Global stage, the Organizational Development Manager is a newly created position within Talent Management Center of Expertise. The incumbent will be responsible to design, develop and deliver complex global programs that drive organizational performance while evolving the member experience.
Some of the talent management initiatives include employee engagement, culture, performance development, talent management and succession planning. As a natural leader and influencer, the incumbent will also enhance talent solutions that accelerate our member’s ability to achieve and sustain a high performance culture, and differentiate CGI as a great place to work.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
•Leads the redesign and/or enhancement of complex culture, talent management and member experience initiatives, such as performance development, member engagement, listening strategies, talent management and succession planning.
•Leads the project management related to the architecture of culture, talent management and member experience initiatives in partnership with other HR Centers of Expertise, other corporate functions (communications, CIO, etc.), a global network of Organizational Development Leads and HR business partners, as needed.
•Gathers and summarizes recommendations from multiple stakeholders on potential future enhancements to culture, talent management and member experience initiatives.
•Monitors organizational development best practices and identifies opportunities for improvement
•Provides subject matter expertise in organizational development to a global network of Organizational Development & HR leaders.
•Supports the maintenance and enhancement of global talent systems and tools.
•Supports the design and delivery of training for Organizational Development Leads, HRBPs, Global HR Member Services, Leaders and Members.
•Designs/updates documentation, solutions and supporting material as needed.
•Builds the creation of communication material as needed.
•Gathers and maintains talent related metrics, including metrics related to culture, member engagement, member experience, leadership pipeline, talent management and succession planning.
•Supports other global HR COE projects as needed.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
•Bachelor or Master degree in Human Resources (ideally in organizational development)
•A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in talent management in a large organization
•Experience in leading complex global projects
•Talent management expertise (e.g., Member experience, culture, performance development, member engagement, talent management and succession planning.).
•Ability to manage projects in a multinational context (Project Management skills) with the ability to “connect the dots” and work through complexity to identify appropriate strategies to improve talent management outcomes.
•Ability to influence without authority using strong consultation and facilitation skills.
•Superior communication abilities, strong interpersonal skills with all hierarchy levels in a virtual and multicultural context.
•High degree of systemic thinking, customer focus, adaptability and delivery of results.
•Knowledge of human centered design principles.
•Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
