Your role in our team
Security and space intersect in various aspects of our lives. As a software/firmware engineer at CGI, you possess expertise in software and firmware development, adhering to the latest principles. You excel in designing, simulating, implementing, and verifying FPGA circuits using HDL. You are interested in security and cryptography and you like to bring this together in new applications. Joining a multidisciplinary team, you will participate in sprint-based delivery of software and firmware, overseeing the entire development cycle.

You have a broad interest in technology and development of high tech systems and you like to work and develop outside your knowledge area. You have:
• Completed Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Embedded System or Technical Software Engineering;
• Knowledge or experience as electronics design engineer / embedded system engineer ;
• Knowledge or experience as FPGA developer using HDL (VHDL, Verilog and HLS);
• Knowledge or experience with assembly or embedded C for microcontrollers (Optional);
• Knowledge or experience using various common digital interfaces;
• Knowledge or experience of testing and debugging of FPGA;
• You have demonstrated good written and verbal communication skills while working in a team.
Please note that holding an EU passport is mandatory for obtaining an EU Personal Security Clearance at the CONFIDENTIAL level, which is a part of our selection process.
