Popis pozice:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be in downtown Toronto office 2-3 times per week - subject to change at any time.

Must have:
• 5+ years’ working experience in the areas of software development.
• Technical understanding and strong knowledge of architectural concepts including Big Data platform with Spark/Scala and Python, cloud, relational database management system (RDBMS), and OOP with some exposure to functional programming mainly Java.
• Experience in complex end to end technical projects through initiation, development, and implementation.
• Experience with Dev-ops GitHub, Jenkins and Helios.
• Design and implement secure API’s.
• Troubleshoot and optimize code for better performance.
• Advanced knowledge and proven experience with Strategy Analysis including understanding of business goals and objectives, assessing capability gaps, assessing risks of the change, and determining solution scope and approach.
• Comfortable facilitating and participating in technical discussions and decisions.
Nice-to-have:
• Hands-on experience of coding and software development for finance applications.
• SDLC, AGILE, iterative waterfall and other software lifecycle frameworks
• Experience and understanding of financial reporting application.
