Position Description:

CGI is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with a strong background in data visualization using PowerBI, experience with SimCorp Dimension, and a deep understanding of the investment sector. The ideal candidate will possess both IT and business expertise, enabling them to bridge the gap between technical solutions and business needs.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Utilize SimCorp Dimension to manage and analyze investment data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with investment teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions that support decision-making processes.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) to integrate various data sources into a cohesive data model.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and present findings to senior management.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across all reporting and analytics platforms.
- Work closely with IT teams to implement and optimize data solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements.
- Provide training and support to end-users on PowerBI and SimCorp Dimension functionalities.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and investment management.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in PowerBI for data visualization and reporting.
- Experience with SimCorp Dimension for investment data management.
- Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and practices.
Business Skills:
- In-depth understanding of the investment sector, including asset management, portfolio management, and financial instruments.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the investment sector.
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining data visualization solutions using PowerBI.
- Experience working with SimCorp Dimension is highly desirable.
