Position Description:

You will not be bored as great team in EmTech awaits you! Who you will cooperate the most with is Zdeněk – our architect in Prague, and Honza – our architect in Ostrava. UX/UI team lead by Janka is also ready to get to know you. And last but not least is Martin – responsible for leading the whole EmTech team – is excited to meet you!

Your future duties and responsibilities:

What is it all about?
• You will develop apps that will be used by thousands of people. The target users of our apps are both the general public (sports, retail) and employees in various sectors (logistics, energy, HR, finance, public sector).
• You will participate in most phases of the project (from the birth of the idea through design and implementation to testing and maintenance).
On Frontend we use React or Angular, also GraphQL and styled components.
On Backend, we work with Node.js (Express, Apollo) or Java (Spring Boot). Tools we also use on daily basis are MS Azure or Docker, and for planning, we have JIRA, Confluence, and also GitLab.

• If you enjoy UI design or UX, there is a whole team you will cooperate with.
• You will be able to experiment with the latest technologies such as VR / AR, IoT, AI,…

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

We want you if:
• You are no longer a complete newbie in frontend development and you already have worked on a few projects.
• You have experience in development in JavaScript, ideally in React or Angular.
• You get extra points if you are not afraid of Jira, Confluence or GitLab.
• You speak English fluently. Czech or Slovak would be great advantage.
• It is definitely a plus if you already have a university degree (ideally with an IT focus) or you will get it soon. But we are most interested in your openness and desire to develop.
• You are a team player. You can lift your head from the computer and exchange a few words with colleagues about work and life.
